How long does it take to create a custom suit set?
Our timeline is determined by your fabric and design choice. Custom tailoring for corporate and lifestyle we recommend 4 - 8 weeks and for wedding or special events we recommend 2 - 5 months. Urgent orders for sooner than 4 weeks may be available upon request and will attract an additional charge from $220.

How does your alterations process work?
Once your garments are ready, we will contact you for your private fitting where, we will review your garments and make any necessary alterations if required. During this time focus will be given to your posture and suit balance whilst accommodating your personal taste and standards. Following this fitting our highly skilled in-house tailors will refine these changes to secure the perfect final fit.
At Couture Menswear we understand that you have your own preferences to style hence, why most alterations are inclusive for your first fitting in store. Whilst it is unusual if there are considerable charges to your build additional charges may incur. Please read our full terms and conditions for more information here.
What if there will be changes to my body?
If you intend to embark on a health journey prior to your measurements it is important you notify your tailor so we can adjust the timeline where possible. Your first cycle of alterations is complimentary for any minor changes that incur a reduction in size. However, if considerable changes occur to your size after the measurements process these alterations may attract an additional cost. What if I am located outside of Australia?
International orders are dealt with in a slightly different manner but we will still be available to walk you through the entire design process via a video call. All custom garments will be shipped via DHL with an express shipping option available too. Please fill out our booking form here to get started or if you have any further questions.
Can I try on garments in your showroom?
As we are a custom made service with thousands of styling and fabric options available it is unlikely we will have your exact vision available to view as a complete piece in our showrooms. However, we have the largest range of display garments available for viewing in our showrooms to assist you in visualising your creation. Whilst, we do not recommend these displays to be worn by our clients we can offer a draping service in store if you would like to get more familiar with our collection.
